Your data is yours. We just process it.
We only collect the information needed for you to create an account unique to you, information that allows us to improve the performance of our services, and information needed to find your Accounts–ones that charge you a fee and ones that send you mailing lists. The only reason we do this is so you can track which organizations possess your personal information, where these emails originate from, which mailing lists you actually interact with, and whether your paid subscriptions changed.
With so many deletion services benefiting off your data, you might be wondering how we’re different–and exactly how we process and store your data. Let’s dig in.
We only collect the data we need.
We only ask you for the data we need to aggregate and monitor your accounts. Learn more about how we keep your data safe here.
Your password is yours, and only you can use it to access your account. We have failsafes in place to ensure and protect against hackers, and we encrypt all data in multiple locations to keep you safe.
You hold the keys.
While we minimize the amount of info that could be threatened, we obviously need to protect the little info we actually collect. We all use Yorba ourselves, so we’re pretty keen on not having any of our stuff stolen. Learn more
We’re secure.
Since we don’t aim to profit from your personal data, we honestly don’t even want your data unless we absolutely need it to provide our services. We store only what we must keep, and remove it as quickly as possible. Learn more
We follow Mozilla’s Lean Data Practices.
We don’t employ any policies or practices that we ourselves wouldn’t be cool with, even when doing so would save us a lot of time. That’s often quite a pain in the ass for us, to be honest – but it makes the work more rewarding and it makes our product stronger. So, whatever. Learn more
We care.
